About Us

Studiorameshwaram is an online art gallery, which was established in 2001. Eminent artist Shri P. N. Choyal, inaugurated it on Dec 4, 2001 on the 45th solo show of bright and colourful Rajasthani paintings by Rameshwar Singh. The Studio, which was earlier a dedicated showcase of the contemporary and modern Indian paintings by Rameshwar Singh, provided space to young artists also to exhibit their art works. It offers beautiful and genuine artistic works by the famous Indian painters.

Studiorameshwaram is a comprehensive and definite source of genuine artistic works by Rameshwar Singh, Bhumika Takshak, Nishant Dange and other artists. Other Indian artists are also invited to join hands and exhibit their art works on this site. Rameshwar Singh works from his residence at New Delhi and the Studiorameshwaram is engaged in marketing and providing support to the artists. It is a web art gallery.

Our collection includes Rajasthani Paintings, Figurative paintings, Abstracts, Indian God & Goddesses Paintings, Drawings, Oil paintings, beautiful & colourful handmade paintings on canvas and paper. We give the guarantee of originality and authenticity of the art works.

 Tyeb MehtaTyeb Mehta

Studiorameshwaram pays tribute to the Great Indian Artist Tyeb Mehta

I am deeply grieved to learn of the sad demise of the renowned painter Tyeb Mehta, who was a source of inspiration to most of the Indian artists.

He was the founder members of Progressive Artist group, which brought many of the Indian artists on international scenario.

In 2002, his painting “Celebration” fetched Rs.15 million at Christie’s auction. It is the highest sum for an Indian painting at an international auction. I feel proud that he is an Indian who is known worldwide through his superb works. He received the Padma Bhushan award in 2007.

He was cool & clam and worked throughout his life without seeking fame. But personalities like him are destined to be famous by their works.  What I personally like about him is that he always remained away from the controversies and just by the dint of his hard work only, he earned the fame.

His death is a big loss to the art fraternity. Let us pray for peace of the departed soul.
